In November 2024, the Yutan Police Department received a generous donation to purchase a utility vehicle to assist the Yutan Police Department with keeping the city and its citizens safe. The utility vehicle, a 2025 Polaris Ranger, was purchased and outfitted with emergency equipment to complete this task. The goal of the Police Department is to offer a different and modern approach to law enforcement and community activities by patrolling in a more friendly, practical and efficient manner. This law enforcement tool will have easier access to all outdoor sporting and community events. The Yutan Police Department has also teamed up with the Yutan Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department to allow them access to the utility vehicle during summer and winter emergencies. The Yutan Police Department would like to thank the generous donor for allowing this to happen.
