Public Notice: NDOT Open House for US-275 & Highway 92 Expansion The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) will hold a public information open house meeting regarding the proposed expansion of approximately 16 miles of U.S. Highway 275 (US-275) and Nebraska Highway 92 (N-92) in Saunders and Douglas counties. Identified as Mead - US-6/N-31 , the proposed project would expand the existing two-lane highway to a four-lane highway to improve roadway capacity, address deteriorating pavement, and enhance bridge . . .

Low Income Household Water Assistance Program Updates

Please see the news release from the Department of Health and Human Services.  This program is not run by the City of Yutan we have no role in deciding who receives aid.  Yutan does provide information to DHHS only when a resident applies for assistance.

!!Pumpkins in the Park - CANCELED!!

Due to the weather forecast for this upcoming weekend, we have made the decision to cancel Pumpkins in the Park. The Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA), oversees all the TIF projects and funds in Yutan, which paid for the new Yutan Sports Courts.  Has donated three sets of pickleball paddles and balls to be raffled off.  If you would like to enter please fill out the form at this link , three winners will be picked on November 1st.  Must be a Yutan resident to win.  Winners will be notified by . . .

Road Repairs-Update

Road construction will begin Monday, September 11, 2023, on Victor Street between Second and Third Streets. The street will be closed to through traffic only for two weeks. New City of Yutan App Released

We have been working for a few months to get a City of Yutan App up and going, it has finally been approved by both Apple and Google.  While there may be a few bugs to work out we wanted to get the word out.  Many have asked for a way to be notified about events or postings by the City.  The app will allow you to get notifications to your phone when something is added to the website.   For Iphone users - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/city-of-yutan/id6450715151 Android . . .
