NRD Hazard Mitigation Plan
The City of Yutan participated in the multi-jurisdictional update of the 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan created and facilitated by the Lower Platte North Natural Resources District. The plan contains Yutan's specific community profile and identified hazards, in addition to the common regional trends, patterns, and hazards identified by other communities. Approval of the plan is required to be eligible for federal disaster relief and mitigation project funding. Yutan's formal adoption of the plan will ensure the community's continued eligibility for these resources.
The City Council is scheduled to consider Resolution 2026-7 during its 7pm meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
