CITY OF YUTAN, NEBRASKA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Yutan is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA).
PURSUANT TO NEBRASKA REVISED STATUTE § 18-2102.01, the Mayor and City Council seek a qualified resident to serve as a member of this Authority. The CRA is a critical public body charged with the elimination of blighted and substandard conditions and the promotion of economic and physical revitalization within the City of Yutan.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY:
As a member of the CRA, you will serve a 5 year term. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and recommending Redevelopment Plans to the City Council.
- Overseeing the use of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) for eligible local projects.
- Assisting in the implementation of the Yutan Comprehensive Plan and Downtown Revitalization efforts.
- Making strategic decisions to improve the City’s infrastructure and economic landscape.
APPOINTMENT PROCESS:
In accordance with Nebraska law, the member shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
