🛑 TOTAL ROAD CLOSURE: Cedar Drive at Vine Street 🛑
EFFECTIVE AS OF: Monday, April 13, 2026
The Department of Public Works is currently on-site performing a critical emergency excavation to repair a collapsed house sewer line. Due to the extreme depth and size of the excavation, the roadway is completely impassable.
⚠️ CRITICAL UPDATE: NO LOCAL ACCESS ⚠️ This is a STRICT TOTAL CLOSURE for all vehicles. For the safety of our residents and crews, NO local access will be permitted through the work zone under any circumstances.
🗺️ DETOUR INSTRUCTIONS

Mandatory Detour: All vehicles, including residents who live in the immediate area, must bypass the work zone.

Designated Route: Use County Road 5 to Pinecrest.

Action Required: Please follow all posted detour signs and barricades. Residents living within the closure zone must access their properties from the opposite side of the excavation via the detour route.
⏱️ EXPECTED DURATION
Crews are working as quickly as possible, but this closure is expected to last for a few days.
